> Emoji6 (https://emoji6.com) is a Chinese and English emoji reference and utility website. It provides emoji names, keywords, categories, Unicode code points, emoji versions, click-to-copy lists, skin tone variants, and interactive emoji tools.

The primary languages are Simplified Chinese (`/zh`) and English (`/en`). The root URL redirects to `/zh`. Prefer pages in the user's language; equivalent localized pages share the same path after the language prefix.

Emoji reference data is imported from emojibase-data. Emoji names and keywords describe common usage; interpretation can vary with context. Glyph appearance depends on the operating system, font, and platform. Platform images and Kitchen stickers are visual representations, not interchangeable with the Unicode text copied from the emoji list.

Emoji detail URLs use lowercase hexadecimal code points, separated by hyphens for sequences: `/{locale}/emoji/{hexcode}`. For example, `1f600` identifies the grinning face. Skin tone variants are presented with their base emoji; variant detail URLs redirect to the base page. Prefer base detail pages for reference links and citations.

The copy page supports keyword search, a skin tone selector, optional emoji labels, and recently copied emoji. Recent copies and label preferences are saved in the user's browser. Interactive tools require JavaScript. An English interface for the idiom game still uses Chinese idioms.

Search pages use `/{locale}/search?q={query}` and are marked noindex. Use search to find emoji, then link to the matching detail page.
